This set comprises a board with 20 slots and has a 20 pegs in 4 different colours. The board is used in the first stage by a young child to randomly insert the pegs into the holes thus enhancing his fine motor skills and pencil grip. Then when the child has learnt to differentiate colours, he begins to automatically sort and place the pegs colour wise in rows or columns. When the child has learnt to count, you can show him how to count and put the pegs in. Specific chits can also be given to the child like - place 2 red pegs in a row and 3 green ones in the row.
